InsPro Named to Software Magazine’s 31st Annual Software 500
Software Magazine Ranks InsPro Technologies as one of the World’s Largest Software Companies
Eddystone, PA – October 15, 2013 – InsPro Technologies LLC, the leading provider of an innovative policy administration system that helps insurers and TPAs market new products quickly, improve customer service, and reduce operating costs, today announced its inclusion in Software Magazine’s Software 500 ranking of the world’s largest software and service providers, now in its 31st year.
“We’re pleased to be selected to the Software 500 list,” said Robert Oakes, President and Chief Executive Officer of InsPro. “This recognition is yet another validation of our accelerated growth, particularly over the last eighteen months, and the favorable reception InsPro Enterprise™ has had in the marketplace since its launch in 2004.”
“The 2013 Software 500 results show that employment in the software and services industry was very healthy, increasing 9.5 percent to total Software 500 company employment of 4,924,121,” says John P. Desmond, editor, Software Magazine. “At the same time, overall revenue was up four percent from last year to $672.9 billion,” he adds.
“The Software 500 helps CIOs, senior IT managers, and IT staff research and create the short list of business partners,” Desmond says. “It is a quick reference of vendor viability. And the online version, posted at www.softwaremag.com, is searchable by category, making it what we call the online catalog to enterprise software.”
The Software 500 is a revenue-based ranking of the world’s largest software and services suppliers, targeting medium to large enterprises, their IT professionals, software developers, and business managers involved in software and services purchasing.
Go to www.softwaremag.com to see the 2013 Software 500. It is released in the September issue, as both a print and the digital publication, which was distributed on September 9, 2013.
The ranking is based on total worldwide software and services revenue for 2012. This includes revenue from software licenses, maintenance and support, training, and software-related services, and consulting. Suppliers are not ranked on total corporate revenue, since many have other lines of business, such as hardware. Financial information is gathered by a survey prepared by Rockport Custom Publishing, LLC. Using public documents and company input. It is published in print as well as posted online at www.softwaremag.com as both a digital edition and searchable database.
