Don Caldwell is one of Pennsylvania’s most experienced and successful investors, having been the founder or a key principal in two of the Commonwealth’s most active investment groups, Cross Atlantic Capital Partners and Safeguard Scientifics. Don founded and serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cross Atlantic Capital Partners, which has raised four investment funds totaling in excess of $500 million of committed capital, and is responsible for the firm’s operations, building the investment team, and growing the Cross Atlantic franchise through fundraising, network development, and deal flow generation.
Prior to founding Cross Atlantic Capital in March 1999, Don was President and Chief Operating Officer of Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. (NYSE: SFE) where he also previously served as Executive Vice President. During Don’s tenure at Safeguard, Safeguard was highly regarded for its growth and technology management skills, investing principally in the information technology industry. Prior to joining Safeguard he held a number of executive positions including President and Chief Executive Officer of Atlantic Financial and a Partner at Arthur Young & Company.
Don holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Babson College and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Graduate School of Business at Harvard. His civic organization roles include serving as a Director and Chairman Emeritus of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.
With over 30 years of experience in all aspects of IT, strategic planning, systems architecture and technical services, Bob brings extensive corporate and technical knowledge to his executive leadership role. Prior to founding InsPro in 1986, Bob held various positions in software development and financial services.
Bob also served as acting CIO at a leading life insurance company, where he successfully launched a long-stalled transition from a mainframe-centric environment to multi-tiered, web-based architecture. His overall responsibilities included strategic technology planning, support, budgeting and finance management.
Dave is a results driven IT leader with over 15 years of experience in technology delivery, focused largely on the insurance vertical. Throughout his career, Dave has consistently demonstrated a solid understanding of the software development and implementation processes needed to deliver technology solutions in today’s insurance systems landscape. He has both hands-on and management experience in software architecture and development, business and systems analysis, program management, and large enterprise implementations. He is a proven leader, playing integral roles in the development of systems, applications, and processes that cover the spectrum of healthcare and insurance operations for carriers, third-party administrators, and software vendors.
In his role at InsPro, Dave leads the Solutions Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Development, and Technical Services organizations.
Frank is an insurance industry veteran who brings more than 40 years of accounting and finance experience to InsPro Technologies. Frank advises management on all accounting matters and is responsible for all finance operations, which includes accounting, financial reporting, treasury management and financial planning and analysis.
Prior to joining InsPro, Frank held various finance leadership positions at GE Auto and Home, Provident American Corporation and Providian Direct Insurance. Frank holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees from Temple University.
Ron is responsible for all InsPro business development activities, from implementations to strategic guidance. With over 25 years experience delivering IT solutions for the insurance and financial services industries, Ron helps InsPro prospects and customers execute their business strategies and achieve their policy administration objectives.
Prior to joining InsPro, Ron held various IT management positions at Nationwide Financial and Provident Mutual, with direct responsibilities for new business and policy administration, product development, distribution management, and broker dealer operations and compliance.
Gretchen is responsible for all talent management strategies and activities at InsPro Technologies. Gretchen’s career spans over 18 years in the public accounting, insurance and asset management sectors. She has a demonstrated record of leading talent management practices including talent acquisition, performance management, talent development and career pathing to positively impact business results.
Prior to joining InsPro, Gretchen was a Human Resources leader and business partner for several financial services firms, including Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company. Gretchen attended Gettysburg College for her undergraduate education and has a Master’s in Organizational Dynamics from The University of Pennsylvania.
